Peer Review Process
Bulletin of Science, Technology and Society operates a peer review system and promotes blind reviewing to ensure impartiality and academic rigor. All submissions are initially screened by the editorial team, then evaluated by two independent reviewers selected based on subject expertise.
Reviewers assess each manuscript using standardized criteria, focusing on clarity, originality, and scholarly contribution. Based on their recommendations, the editorial board makes the final decision to accept or reject the manuscript.
Authors may receive one of four outcomes:
• Accepted without revision
• Accepted with minor revisions
• Accepted with major revisions
• Rejected (due to scope mismatch, technical flaws, or lack of clarity)
All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using Turnitin. Similarity scores between 25%–40% require revision; scores above 50% result in immediate rejection.
